We can either select the best products for your business start up based on our experience and your preferences or we can give you a wholesale login and you can self select your own market pack.

Self Select If you would prefer to choose your own lines you can apply for a wholesale login, this will allow you to log into the wholesale area of our site where you can browse our wholesale prices and order online. There is no minimum order but we charge a £5 low order surcharge if you spend under £100. To apply for a wholesale login we need the following information;

• Your name, home address and phone numbers ( landline and mobile)
• Your trading name, trading address ( if different) and work phone number ( if different)
• A bit about you and your business

Markets, Festivals, Craft Fairs, fetes, and other low cost venues have all proved to be ideal business start-up outlets for our Fair Trade Clothes and handcrafted products. Trading from markets, festivals, fairs and similar venues is a good way to gain experience and build stock and capital prior to opening a shop.

The Product Range

We design our own exclusive collections of clothes in association with our producers, all our clothes carry the One World is Enough label. All our clothes are Fair Traded, we are recognised by the British Association of Fair Trade Shops as being a Fair Trade Importer. We bring out two new collections every year, a spring/summer collection and an autumn/winter collection.

We also have a range of non clothes goods, these are also sourced from our network of Fair Trade Producers, we get a new collection every year with some special gift items around Christmas Time.

Business Start-up Packs

Business start-up packs contain a wide range of inexpensive and modestly priced handcrafted products that have proved popular with market traders and their customers. Some of these products can be seen on this website, but there are many hundreds more. All our packs take into account the special requirements of the smaller or part-time business; where practical considerations such as size, weight, mobility, and ease of display are as important as price and customer appeal.

The Cost

Our market packs range from £100 for a basic taster pack upto £1,000 for our business in a box festival pack. Generally speaking the more you spend on your opening stock the better, and we recommend that you spend a minimum of £250 if at all possible. Our larger packs offer greater product variety and increase customer choice. For a small additional charge we will supply a selection of wrapping materials.

Profit & Earnings

All our stock is priced to sell at a minimum of double the cost but you are free to raise or lower your prices as you wish. The amount you earn will depend on how much stock you have, and the size, type and number of venues you attend. If you purchase one of our larger packs (£750 or more) a typical Market event will normally generate sales of between £300 and £500 (more at Christmas and at festivals). Your profit will be at least half of this before expenses…between £150 and £250. Most fair traders enjoy selling at a large variety of venues including indoor and outdoor markets, festivals, agricultural shows, university campuses and school fetes. There are numerous ways to grow your business and increase earnings. As your business expands you may decide to get a portable credit card machine to facilitate easy payment.

Unlike most wholesalers we have years of hands-on retail experience successfully selling our products in our own shops and galleries. We know what sells and how best to present it. Freedom Trading will make sure that you get the best possible range of top-selling products within your budget, and we will always be available to personally answer your questions and offer practical advice and guidance on any aspect of the business.

In order to give you the best possible prices we require payment with order, we do not provide credit for marketplan customers.

We recommend that you purchase one of our regular Market packs but you may, if you wish, assemble your own package from the products on this site. click here to order a market pack.
